About Me

My passion for documentary has lead me all over the globe and seen me live in some incredible cities to pursue my filmmaker dreams.  I began playing with digital video in Italy some 20 years ago and since then have produced Emmy-winning documentaries and video journalism. I've worked in digital media startups at the LA Times, the Chicago Tribune, Newsweek, public media, tech startups, the United Nations and many more.

I've seen digital video through many iterations; from its dotcom-era humble beginnings to the current social media landslide it has become. I've advised media companies on digital strategy and audience development in this ever changing digital landscape.

I realized long ago that knowledge is gained when shared and so I've taught fellow creators along the way at Northwestern, NYU, international workshops and tech startups with an emphasis on video storytelling.

The move to LA started a new adventure; two award-winning feature length documentaries; a video installation shown at galleries; producing music videos in the Los Angeles music scene; creating marketing and social media videos for leading edge companies;  and, creating a podcast series. Who says producing can't be fun?
